The Zephyr Show Episode 2 - Meherwan Patel - Spirituality, Philosophy, Human-Centered Design
In Episode 2 of The Zephyr Show, I interviewed Meherwan Patel, a student at Yale-NUS College, Singapore.
He's currently (2024) pursuing his B.A. (Hons) Philosophy & graduating soon. In this chat we spoke about everything from Spirituality to Human-Centered Design. Meherwan & I both grew up as Zoroastrians, but as you can see from our exchange, we're more like Cosmic Universal Free Thinkers; we acknowledge the presence of Universal Truths higher or deeper than religions.
We explored different concepts, authentic examples & the links between Spirituality, Philosophy & Human-Centered Design. We also mentioned local companies & practitioners in Singapore like BioSEA's Founder Anuj Jain, Humankind Design's Heads, Jemima & Ju Hu, & Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique Practitioner Adrian Ng.
Interview On Spirituality, Philosophy & Human-Centered Design
I brought Spirituality to the table in the conversation, and Meherwan as a Philosophy student at Yale-NUS brought up things from that angle, as well as his interest in Human-Centered Design. I believe it was a great blend of topics, all culminating into the one whole which we are as a Universe.
We actually were having a laid-back coffee and chat on the rooftop/viewing gallery of his school building which has panoramic views of the surroundings around the National University of Singapore. We spoke about many interesting topics, and it is only when we sat down for dinner that I decided we should switch on the wireless microphones I had brought with me.
The next time Meherwan and I chat, I will make no mistake, and WILL switch on the microphones the moment we start chatting, as the topics always tend to be deep and interesting.
