After years of thinking about it, I finally took a job at a restaurant. One of the lines from one of my healer's Julia-Anna in Virginia, kept echoing in my head which was, "Stop making things higher or lower or bigger or smaller. Just do what you have to do to make it work."

She was referring of course to me not being able to decide what career to do a few years ago when I simply couldn't bring myself to wrap my head around it! Long story!

Anyway, on my first day I started by cutting vegetables, then learning how to take orders, then learning how to serve the orders, and towards the end of the day we even did the fulfilment of orders through apps. Of course throughout the day, there was non-stop cleaning and tidying up of the space.

OMG THE OIL! I didn't realise that since we're doing so many things once after another, sometimes at speed, especially in a small kitchen, grease and oil can spread quickly. I'm a person who hates things to be oily where I work (primarily because before this job I would work on the computer churning our videos, or coaching or content), but the Universe has sent me a task to get used to it. Or learn how the other half lives (I mean with oily hands in all parts of their lives). I tend to clean my hands a lot.

I like them squeaky clean. I hope I get to share more #RestaurantLife adventures with you soon.
