While there is a place and time to implement complex strategies, I find that sometimes with humans, the simplest things are the most effective. This also extends into relationships.

Here's a simple thing that my wife and I did plenty in 2020 during that big thing that was spread throughout the Earth (*rolls eyes* thanks for experimenting on and leaking such dangerous stuff - sometimes the nonsense we do as humans makes me smile) and we also started it doing again this year, 2024.

What it is, is... massage. Yes, massage. Well... what kinda massage you might ask.

The simplest which I've found that you can indulge in, is a foot massage. If you have a simple 3-seater sofa with armrests on each end for example, both of you can sit at either end of the sofa, and then turn left or right respectively, to face your bodies in towards the centre of the sofa, using the armrests, as backrests. At this point your legs should collide or intertwine (careful don't kick in between each others' legs). You should be able to comfortably reach each others' feet with your hands.

If you cannot, add pillows in between yourself and the armrest, to bring yourself closer to each other. Adjust until comfortable. Lovingly take each other's feet into your hands, and start gently massaging each other's feet. Start with one foot, and change the foot you're massaging after 10 minutes. A good way to prop up the foot to a comfortable position so your hands can massage it, is to place the heel of the foot you're massaging on the centre of your thigh, or Quadriceps muscle group (muscles at the front of the thigh if you're standing up straight). 

Enjoy. Repeat daily for maximum bonding. It might even turn into sex. You never know.
