I went out expecting a simple night walk along Marine Drive in Mumbai. Instead, I found parts of the area closed off, with police officers redirecting people away from the promenade.

This video is not an official explanation of why Marine Drive was closed. It is simply my real experience on the ground that night — walking, filming, asking questions and trying to understand what was happening.
