After arriving in Vancouver, and we were done with our stay at Level, at Seymour Street, I moved in with some new friends at Burnaby. I didn't want to trouble them for too long as they were being super nice by letting me stay in their home, so I quickly moved to a room at East 40th Avenue in a pretty run down home, in a hurry, partly because the head tenant there also seemed really nice, which she was.

I quickly figured out that the home was filled with some lovely people (all of them actually), but it wasn't the right fit for what I needed to operate my entrepreneurial life from. I also have perfectionistic and clean tendencies (relatively compared to the general public). I moved again, to another room in Richmond. 

In this room here, I live right next to an Elementary school which just today I discovered, has a nice fitness corner (or a playground which I'll make my fitness corner when there are no students here - so probably on the weekends), and a nice sprawling ground for kids to play sports and other games in. 

In fact, maybe my daughter can go here if we move here. It's quite perfect really. It's also a safe neighbourhood, from what I can see so far, so if you're a new immigrant to Vancouver or British Columbia and you need a safe space to stay, you might want to explore Richmond. 

I've found the people here really polite and respectful.
