Wouldn't it be cool to just finally
GET YOUR MUSIC OUT THERE INTO THE WORLD?

I'm like a lot of musicians. When I was starting out I was told by my classmates, friends and even bullies...

"You shouldn't make music."
"You can't play."
"I've heard your voice, you shouldn't sing."
"You're tone deaf."

I entered Arts College knowing how to play 2 songs on drums. 2. And I later found out that 1 was incorrectly played.

The whole class would laugh at me during Music Theory... (well I did ask "What's A Chord?" - but that's not the point.)

But you know what? It didn't matter what anybody said, because I found the right crowd, and my music has since been #22 in the world on Apple Music's New Music Daily playlist, and MTV and VH1 played my first music video 30 times in its release month, less than 8 years after being called "tone deaf".

Many of you might be facing similar challenges to what I did and we all do from time to time. Your family, friends, but mostly YOU, are thinking:

• "Will this music thing even work?"
• "I probably shouldn't release my music because it isn't commercial sounding."
• "I need to spend time with my band who I play bar gigs with for cash, to bond, so there's no time to write, produce and release my music."
•  "The music industry sounds complicated, I rather just stick to playing my guitar for small gigs after my day job for free. It's more fun this way."
• "Yes I can play an instrument, but I've never been a musician musician, or done it professionally. Doesn't it cost tens of thousands to release a song?"

But inside... you KNOW that you want to get that song or that beat or that tune you were dabbling with out there into the world.

My goal for you is to get on with making music you love, producing it and releasing it your way, and getting recognition for your unique style of music!

Friend, you're probably like me, and I'm blessed and grateful for these humble achievements. They happened to me, because I took the time to painstakingly figure out how to go from having an idea for a song in my head, to producing and releasing it, to getting my music featured worldwide.
