Zephyr's acting credits include brands & agencies like HBO, Citibank, HP, Eric Khoo’s In The Room, and Mediacorp Channel 5’s Tanglin.
Zephyr used to receive calls while majoring in music at LASALLE College of the Arts to do modeling shoots. He tried a couple of nondescript shoots during the summer breaks, but they were a hobby.
After graduation, Khambatta decided to lean in, and follow the job opportunities coming his way. The size and stature of the brands that wanted to work with him increased as a pleasant surprise. In 2014, he was casted as the drummer of the band Desker 5, a remaking of a famous Singaporean 60s band Siglap 5, in a part of Eric Khoo's film In The Room.
Before long, Zephyr got a call to act in the Singaporean Channel 5 Primetime Drama Tanglin in 2016. The casting directors via a contact suggested that his look matched a Singaporean-born-British-raised character in the script, Augustine Peckerman. He was hired on the spot after a video audition and remained on screen for 5 months as a recurring supporting actor.
Having no formal training in acting, Zephyr built his own casual style as the months progressed. The feedback from audiences was that he looked natural on screen and fit in seamlessly. Since then, commercial spots have followed for video advertisements and he has been acting and modeling for a variety of projects and brands as time allows.
